Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment have announced preparation for 2015’s “Operation Appreciation,” the annual journey by Summit Racing and Harley-Davidson racers to visit American troops stationed overseas. Operation Appreciation is made possible by Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE).
Part of the first day of the Summit Racing-sponsored, Armed Forces Entertainment-organized Operation Appreciation included meeting a medical crew and seeing the Blackhawk that they work out of.
Andrew Hines & Eddie Krawiec got up close and personal with an Apache helicopter at a military base in Kuwait during 2015’s Operation Appreciation.
On the first day of Operation Appreciation, Andrew Hines and Eddie Krawiec had the opportunity to get a first-hand perspective of how the troops are trained using cost-effective firearms simulators at a base in Kuwait. The weapons look, feel, and fire almost exactly the same as the real thing.
The first day of Operation Appreciation concluded with a meet & greet with the troops at the first base they visited in Kuwait. A great end to the first day of the trip for NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines riders Andrew Hines and Eddie Krawiec.
